Our Role

Oregon Water Damage Pros operates an information and connection service for homeowners. We are not a restoration contractor, we do not perform work, and we do not supervise work. When you call, we pass your request to an independent provider. Any agreement for services is between you and that provider.

Independent Providers

Providers reached through this site are independent businesses. They set their own pricing, scheduling, staffing and scope, and they are not employees, agents or partners of this site. We do not warrant or guarantee their work, their timeliness, or the accuracy of any estimate they provide.

It is your responsibility to confirm that any contractor you hire holds the licenses, bonds and insurance required for the work performed in Oregon, and to review the terms of any agreement before signing it.

Information on This Site

Guides, service descriptions and FAQ answers on this site are general information written for homeowners. They are not a professional assessment of any particular property and are not a substitute for an inspection by a qualified contractor. Conditions inside walls, under floors and in crawl spaces cannot be judged from a description or a photograph.

Cost ranges discussed on this site are general context, not quotations. Actual costs depend on the size of the affected area, the category of water, the materials involved, access, and how long the moisture has been present.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use this site to submit false or misleading requests, to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure, to scrape or republish its content as your own, or to use it in a way that violates any applicable law.

Intellectual Property

The text, layout, graphics and code on this site belong to their respective owners and are protected by copyright. You may read, print or share links to these pages for personal use. Republishing the content, in whole or in part, for commercial purposes requires written permission.

Availability and Limitation of Liability

The site and the phone line are provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, nor do we guarantee that a provider will be available in your area at the moment you call. Same-day and 24-hour emergency service depends on provider participation, location, technician availability and demand.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this site is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the site, reliance on its content, or services performed by an independent provider.

Disputes and Reporting Problems

Any dispute about work performed, pricing or scheduling is between you and the contractor you hired. Reporting a problem to this site does not resolve that dispute, but it does inform whether the provider continues to be passed calls through the network, and it is the only channel this service controls.

Before work begins, ask for the scope in writing, confirm licensing and insurance, and agree on how changes will be handled if the job turns out to be larger than expected. Water damage regularly reveals more once material is opened up, and a contractor who explains that process up front is easier to work with than one who does not.

Changes and Governing Law

These terms may be updated as the service changes; the version published on this page is the version in effect. Use of this site is governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
